Two Wins from the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP)
Environmental Designs wins 2 silver awards from the National Association of Landscape Professionals
Two Wins From The NALP! The National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) awarded Environmental Designs with two silver awards for the Landscape Management and Design/Build categories. Environmental Designs was recognized for their spectacular work at the annual National Landscape Awards of Excellence ceremony in Louisville, KY at the Landscapes 2019 conference.
Award-Winning Landscape Design and Construction
The Design/Build award-winning project, Bell Summit at Flatirons, featured a striking landscape design for a previously underutilized courtyard. The new design included a large-scale ADA accessible fire pit with LED café lights in the center of the gathering area, two large grilling stations with ample room to cook and entertain, two separate seating areas with banquet tables that ensure the space can be used by different groups, and regionally appropriate plant material that anchors the space and softens the hard lines of this courtyard. Commercial Landscape Management
The second Silver-winning property, Centerra Metro District (CMD), features a complex mix of manicured cool season turf and native warm season areas with a specific plant palette designed to create an aesthetic that unites the suburban lifestyle with the surrounding natural environment. Environmental Designs was awarded the Landscape Management award based on the difficulty of the space and their attention to detail throughout the season.
The National Association of Landscape Professionals
Each year, the National Association Landscape Professionals Awards of Excellence recognizes exceptional landscape, lawn care, and interior plantscape design projects from around the nation. This year 128 awards were bestowed for maintenance, design/build and contracting projects.
“These two national awards are a significant milestone for Environmental Designs,” said Shawn Ryan, President of Environmental Designs. “We are very proud of the hard work that went into these two projects and strive every day to deliver award-winning work to our clients.”
